Lisa Kaye Bergeron is Director of Health and Technology Engagement within the Division of Outreach, Engagement, and Regional Development. She serves on the Illinois Fiber Ventures Board, and also the iFiber board in the role as Secretary. She holds a Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Management of Information Systems, and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology.
Lisa joined NIU’s Center for Governmental Studies in 1996, and provides expertise in the development and implementation of economic, community, healthcare, broadband, and workforce development projects. Her current focus in on numerous externally funded health information technology and quality improvement projects designed to ready practices for value-based payment models. These projects are being managed through the Illinois Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center at NIU. Lisa also has been involved in NIU’s many broadband related projects and subsequent organizations established to own and manage those networks.
