Please join us Thursday, Nov. 15, for a seminar about the energy and cost-saving benefits of Data Centers
Data Centers are creating cost-saving opportunities for businesses across the U.S., including in Kane County. A prime local example is the Kane County IT Department, which is co-locating to the New Continuum Data Center, served by Kane Fiber Optic Network, a strategic partner of the Illinois Fiber Resources Group (iFiber). The move will allow the county to gain economies of scale, reduced energy use and lower energy costs.
As part of the process of establishing regional data centers, Kane Fiber is undergoing a review of its energy bills with ComEd to take advantage of available energy efficiency programs. You are invited to learn more about energy-savings and the other benefits of co-locating to a regional data center at a seminar Thursday, Nov. 15. Co-hosted by New Continuum Data Center and Kane Fiber, in conjunction with ComEd, the seminar will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the New Continuum Data Center, 603 Discovery Dr., West Chicago. Register through Eventbrite here.
The seminar will cover details about the various programs available through ComEd to save businesses and organizations energy costs by co-locating to data centers such as New Continuum. Discussion also will detail how utilizing the Kane Fiber network can bring your business high-speed, cost-effective access to New Continuum and other data centers on the Kane Fiber network.
